Over the years Pablo has become a world famous graphic designer, illustrating magazines and books as well as writing them. Born in Buenos Aires in 1973, he graduated as graphic designer in 1998 and has since worked in Argentina, Germany, USA, England, Australia, Brasil and Spain. Pablo’s work has been published in many newspapers including the New York Times and the Telegraph as well as magazines for clients including the BBC.
His work makes use of everyday objects and puts them together in very funny ways to create interesting characters, e.g. using carrots for noses and wire for hair. I love his distinct cut-out style and can see why his work appeals to all ages.

His work can be seen at www.pbernasconi.com.ar

I recently came across the very unique works by Natsko, a Tokyo artist now living in London. She gets her inspiration from everything around her and manages to make any scene interesting with the use of mixed media. I love the way she uses photographs and ‘paints’ together without it looking tacky, but modern and contemporary.

Coca-Cola is possibly the biggest brand in the world today, so its no surprise that the company is producing newer, fresher advertising all the time. Many different designers have interpreted their ‘coke side of life’ and posted them on the web, each with their own unique style.

Oli Godsmith is the man behind this unique challenge to create 999 creative portraits of Borat. The project originally started off as a Flickr group where Oli posted his work as an ‘online gallery’, where users could commment on his work and progress. He uses just about every media he can get his hand on; paint, pastel, graphite and ink, pen with a mix of digital elements. A book of the collection is also planned and will include Borat #1000.
